We went to record at The Stomach in Palmy with a plan to get at least the drum tracks done on a few songs. Macdeth and McBOOOm are so good that we ended up recording several songs and still had time to spare. So I pulled out this blues shuffle, and without any rehearsal we ran it through, and now it's one of my favourites! Notable for beginning with the chorus, not the verse, following the dictates of those venerable veterans of volume, Roxette. Also notable for me using Mark Borchardt's pronunciation of "coven". After using it ironically for years, I just like it better that way now.
