about

I read Ka Whawhai Tonu Matou - Struggle Without End by Ranginui Walker and Imagining Decolonisation (Bridget Williams Books) and they made a deep impression and some good points. Definitely something I think the people of Aotearoa can discuss.

Video here: youtu.be/HJxvy6P6Slw

Side note: all guitar tones produced by plugging straight into the good ol' Peavey Bandit. Classic!

Mastered by the master masterer: Nigel Mauchline at The Stomach.

lyrics

It must now be the time to do the sensible thing
We took the land, and the way of life
Now it's time to return it

(Tino rangatiratanga)
Decolonisation now
(Self-determination)
Decolonisation now
(Tino rangatiratanga)
Decolonisation now

There's no need to be scared
What we can gain is more than what we'd lose
In giving up our privilege, we regain our humanity
