Found this old demo from about 15 years ago, gave it a bit of a tidy-up and here ya go!
Always wanted this one out there because I really enjoyed playing the bassline, and also I accidentally played the guitar solo in the wrong key and it sounds way better than my usual solos.
The song was initially inspired by a book about how the streets of Washington D.C. were laid out according to Masonic principles, but you know... I used to think conspiracy theories were light and funny, but now we all know they're potentially dark and dangerous. So I'm glad the song ended up being more about humanity's place in the universe.
Gives you some perspective. Or maybe, as David St Hubbins said: there's too much f$#king perspective now!
